授業概要 / Class Description English is a global language, which means there are more non-native speakers of English than there are native speakers. Real World English B is designed to help students understand different cultures of English. to think about their own culture and perhaps makes comparisons. This course will build on the English skills students acquired in a student's freshman, sophomore and junior years. The class will be structured like a workshop, in which students will be presented with real-world themes and concepts for discussion, interaction, and presentations. Topics in this class will be first introduced in a textbook format, however, students will be expected to share their own knowledge or experience, as it relates to the course material. Each student's active participation and completion of class activities will be an essential part of this course. Classroom tasks and activities will allow for conversations to promote greater fluency. Weekly homework will be assigned online, in a Language Management System (LMS), to assist with the development of practical language skills.

Depending on the situation, lessons may be conducted online or on campus (face-to-face). The same core curriculum will be maintained in both situations.
