授業概要 ／ Class Description The aim of this course is to develop conversational fluency, so that students will be able to carry out conversations with English-speaking people about a wide variety of topics. Conversational fluency tasks will be the main focus of the course, with a lesser emphasis on rules of English grammar and grammatical accuracy. In order to meet this end, students will be expected to be active learners and to practice using English with each other in pairs and small groups. The class will be conducted entirely in English.

This class will be held in person. However, depending on the circumstances, the class may be offered online.
到達目標 ／ Goal Students will be able to respond appropriately to questions, generate their own questions, maintain the flow of a conversation and end a conversation in a socially acceptable manner.

評価の基準：授業態度30％、テスト40％、課題30%
教科書等 ／ Textbook The textbook will be announced on the first day of class.
You MUST purchase the textbook in order to take this class.

教科書は初日に指定する。
準備学習 ／ Preliminary study Read ahead and look up any unfamiliar words in your dictionary before class.
Do the online assignments (LMS) given for each class.
毎回教科書付属のオンライン課題が出題されるので、自主的に取り組むこと。(1時間程度)
