授業概要 ／ Class Description This course focuses on situations that occur in an American university setting.
In addition to the core textbook, class content will consist of information relevant to
studying abroad. The course will incorporate all four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with a focus on academic vocabulary.

The course will be conducted mainly in English.

Classes will be conducted in-person, but will be changed to online instruction depending on the circumstances.

当授業は英語で行う。

授業は基本的に対面で行うが、感染状況により、オンラインに移行する可能性がある。
到達目標 ／ Goal 英語圏における生活や教育についての基礎知識を身につけ、英会話及びリスニングスキルを伸ばすことができる。また、日常生活やキャンパスで必要となる英語による指示や説明を理解し、英語によって自己表現ができるコミュニケーション能力を習得できる。

You MUST purchase the textbook by the 2nd week.

第2週までには購入すること。
準備学習 ／ Preliminary study 英単語や熟語のミニテストを定期的に行うので復習してくること。リーディングの部分は必ず予習すること。（１時間程度）
