授業概要 / Class Description To be able to give presentations in English, it is very important to strengthen your listening and speaking ability in English. In this class, you will learn the basic presentation skills by improving your speaking competence at the same time. There will be a variety of activities to help you improve your oral skills. You are encouraged to listen to a range of different English in class and outside of the classroom as much as possible so that you can be familar with various kinds of English.
You will watch different types of model presentations in class and discuss the features of each presentation with your classmates. By rephrasing the content of the presentation, you can learn how the presentation is organized and presented. You will be asked to give different lenghts of presentations through the year.
到達目標 / Goal You will be able to:
1. speak English more naturally in front of the audience than before,
2. feel comfortable to speak English in public,
3. give presentations in English with confidence,
4. acquire better communication skills in English,
5. understand the importance of practicing oral English to build the foundation of presentations.

準備学習 / Preliminary study You need to follow the syllabus to prepare for each class. First, check the vocabulary section in the textbook and then watch the model presentation or listen to the presentation (I will explain how you can watch the video or how you should listen to the CD during the orientation).
